Bill complained to the human rights organisation LIBERTY that European pedestrians crippled or killed as a result of the original PedSALi research and follow-up Formal Enquiry fraud had suffered an avoidable loss of human rights.
This is the reply from LIBERTY
Dear Mr Courtney,
Thank you for your email which we received on 22/03/2015. I am sorry for the long delay in responding to you, which is a result of the demand on our service and our limited resources.
You contacted us about campaigning for Pedsali (protection of pedestrians from traffic incidents).
I am afraid that this is not a matter that Liberty is considering campaigning on. By way of explanation, Liberty is a small organisation with limited resources and must focus on its campaigning objectives, which include anti-terror legislation, privacy and vulnerable minorities.
For further information in relation to our current campaigns, please see our website:http://www.liberty-human-rights.org.uk/campaigns/
I wish you the best of luck with your campaign.
Thank you for contacting Liberty and I am sorry that I have not been able to assist you.
Kind regards,
